Nate—I grew up the son of a Baptist Pastor and served in many ministries around the church. At the age of nine I became very concerned about my salvation and went and talked to my dad who led me to Christ on a Thursday night after soul-winning.

Deborah—I also grew up in a Christian home. My father was an assistant pastor and director of bus ministries and my mother the church pianist. At the age of 16 I became convicted about my own need for salvation and went forward on a Wednesday evening and accepted Christ as my saviour.

We married in 2005 and have been blessed with two sons; Seth and Luke. After high school, I went to the local community college and obtained my Private Pilot Certificate. I had the wonderful opportunity to spend four and a half years serving as a contractor working with the Department of Defense flying unmanned aircraft as an instructor and conducted flight operations in Iraq supporting operation Enduring Freedom in 2011. Upon returning from Iraq, I started a solid waste hauling business, which is now serving several thousand customers. Deborah graduated from Baptist College of America and was a school teacher for two different Christian schools before becoming a stay at home mom.

Ministry Highlights

I had felt called to missions, specifically mission aviation, since I was a young child. Together, in preparation for God’s calling, my wife and I have served in many ministries in our local church. I was privileged to be a music director, Jr Church teacher, and Youth Director. Deborah has served as nursery director, choir member, children’s Sunday School teacher, and head of our church decoration team. After many years of prayer and preparation we answered the Lord’s call to serve with Mission Air Care in Washington NC. We are currently making plans to depart for North Carolina sometime in the first half of 2018.
