How little chance the Holy Ghost has nowadays.  The churches  and missionary societies have so bound Him in red tape that they practically ask Him to sit in a cornner while they do the work themselves.  --C.T. Studd--

Struggles to be Reliable

I believe we all struggle to be reliable, dependable and consistent in our daily lives.  But sometimes, the extenuating circumstances can make it even more difficult.  The last two weekends of January are perfect examples.

Sunday, January 23rd, we woke up to -53F in Manley Hot Springs.  No one was leaving their cabin, and it would have been dangerous to travel that 4 hours to the village.

Sunday, January 30th, the weather wasn't a factor, it was the truck we have.  With the help of a good friend, Bill, I've been building this F350 crew cab w/4X4.  I have driven around town now for two weeks.  But it had to wait until I was two hours out of town to shut off.  It was about -10F and 25 mph winds.  Well I unloaded it off a trailer at 10:30PM.  The bed is off of it now, and I'm cleaning the fuel tanks and fuel lines.

Praise the Lord for a hanger to work out of and friends to help!

Thanks for checking in.
